On August 10th, we went Llama-Trekking in Brannenburg. Dani received a gift certificate for her birthday. We decided to join her.
Upon arrival, there was a brief introduction on how to behave and interact with the animals. Then everyone was assigned a cute llama. After grooming and cleaning their fur, the participants completed a short test course (slalom, walking in circles, etc.). The tour went along the Kirchbach, then briefly through Brannenburg, and afterwards along the edge of a forest to the Biber. After an easy climb, we enjoyed a delicious snack. After that, we ascended the stairs to St. Mary Magdalene Church. From there, we walked through the forest back towards Brannenburg. The llamas fortified themselves there with leaves from the trees and bushes and grass (which they weren’t actually allowed to do). The return journey took us back through Brannenburg and along the Kirchbach.
Back home, Mandy and Peter served us coffee, delicious plum cake, and ice cream.
