Christmas market in Regensburg

On December 10th, we visited Christmas markets in Regensburg. After arriving, we met with Thorsten and Bettina. From there we went straight to the Brauhaus am Schloss. There we had delicious burgers and schnitzel. We then met with Hans and Karin at the Christmas market in the city. There we had to try a mulled wine. From there we walked to the small Christmas market at the Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte. But this Christmas market is not that great.

Then we crossed the stone bridge to the Advent market at St. Catherine’s Hospital. The spiced wine there can be highly recommended. There were also delicious crêpes. From there we went back to the old town to the Lucrezia market. A teenager was hungry again and so a bratwurst was needed. The crêpes were very tasty there too.

On the way to the station, we bought incense candles and roasted almonds. The return journey to Munich was very relaxing thanks to the seats we had managed to get on the Alex.
